Honda motorcycles 2
The CBX, thanks to its spectacular six cylinder engine and 1047cc displacement, was converted into one of the most demanded Japanese bikes in history.
In the decade of the 80s, sports bikes entered the scene. The model "Interceptor" was the first to give the sports industry a new facet, considerably elevating the technological level of bikes in the series.
Following that same direction, the V65 Magna arose and also became a complete revolution. In this period, a truly mythic model of Honda arose, the RC30, a competition bike standardized for the highway, which, thanks to its wonderful technology was able to win the world speed championship for several years.
Another mythic model from this decade was the "Hurricane" that, as its name predicts, revolutionized the tracks like a hurricane.
In the year 1996, Honda once again challenged the motor world breaking all the rules with the surprising model "Valkyrie," a highway bike that carried the mythic "Gold Wing" engine, but with high-range performance.
Honda was already a mythic brand. In fact, it was one of the leading brands in the motorcycle sector, as demonstrates the fact that in 1997, the Japanese brand reached the milestone of 100 million bikes produced.
Another historical fact that proved the power of Honda in the world of competitions was the milestone reached the 8th of April of 2001, when Valentino Rossi's victory in the Grand Prize of Japan was the 500th for the Honda motor racing team. A historic number that no other bike racing team has since been able to reach.
