Gloves are very useful accessories, mainly in the winter, as they protect from the cold and its possible consequences.  They also protect us from possible elements in the air, such as insects, gravel, etc.

But the main advantage gloves give you is in the case of a fall, they efficiently protect your hands from possible burns produced by your hands sliding on the asphalt.

There are different types of gloves.  For example, there are gloves that are adapted to different weather conditions, such as the rain or snow, or to your type of driving: there are sports gloves, motocross gloves, etc.

It is recommended that you use leather gloves specially made for motorcycle riders and it is completely inadvisable to use cloth gloves, because in the case of a fall they can produce burns.  Gloves to protect you from the snow should contain thermal liners and be waterproof.

Choose the type of glove you choose, but you should focus on whether they are reinforced in the joints or in the points of greatest wear.  Gloves are indispensable in case of a fall and some good gloves can protect us from burns or serious scrapes.
