Motorcycle clothing

Motorcycle Clothing Motorcycle jackets are optional, but in the case of a fall can help you to avoid a lot of burns.  They also help to keep out the cold of the toughest winters.

When the time comes to get a motorcycle jacket, you should make sure it includes protection on the elbows and the back (if it's possible, dorsal protection).  It can be made of leather or a cloth material recommended for bikers that doesn't produce burns in a fall.  The choice of material will depend, obviously, on the season in which you find yourself.

Winter models should have impermeable, thermal liners.  Summer ones should breathe.  Both should be adjustable in the waist, neck and sleeves.  It is also advisable that it include some reflective part. Biker pants should fulfill the same requirements earlier described for the jackets.

The same as jackets, pants protect us from the weather and, in case of falls, from possible scrapes and, above all, burns.  Maybe you don't have or don't want to buy special pants.  In this case, tell yourself the most recommended pants to wear (although the truly most recommended would be pants designated for motorcycle riding) would be jeans, because, although they won't absorb any hits, they will protect you from burns.

Cloth pants are not advisable as they will not protect you from possible burns. The bike pants you would want to buy should have principal protection on the knees, though also on the thighs and backside.  They should be adjustable at the waist and ankle, and it is advisable that they also have a reflective element.

A rain suit is an essential element in the winter season as it protects from the rain like none other.  You can choose from two-piece or complete suits. The two-piece allows non-exclusive, flexible use.  For example, with the first frosts and the first rains, the jacket can be used alone.  But for a good downpour, the one piece is indispensable.

Above all, the suit must be able to fit over your jacket and pants, as they are elements that will protect you from possible falls and scrapes on the ground.
